Tracy Mertens was burned alive 30 years ago after she was abducted, doused in petrol and set alight. The mum was left to die in a churchyard after suffering burns on 96 per cent of her body.
Now, her daughter has spoken for the first time about her mum's tragic death in a bid to find the callous murderers. Kelly Hill has now revealed details about the days before her mum, Tracy, was abducted and killed.Tracy died in hospital on Christmas Eve, 12 hours later, CheshireLive reports.
Luckily, dinner lady Tracy was able to tell the police about her tragic ordeal in her final hours. However, despite extensive and exhaustive enquiries over the years, no one has ever been convicted in connection with her death.
Kelly has now decided to speak out as she's desperate for justice and an answer, remaining hopeful someone will be caught in her lifetime.
