The date the final Wilko stores will close for good has been announced. The collapsed retailer will shut its final 111 stores on Sunday October 8.
It comes after the hardware and furnishings retailer tumbled into administration last month after it came under pressure from weak consumer spending and debts to suppliers.
The retailer, which was founded by James Kemsey Wilkinson in Leicester in 1930, had around 400 shops and employed 12,000 people before it collapsed.
Stores have been closing in waves since the administration was first announced.
