Darts icon Andy Fordham has vowed to "keep fighting until I can't fight any more" after being told he may need a life-saving bowel operation.
Fordham, the 2004 BDO World Darts Champion, has been discharged from hospital and is back recovering at his home in south east London following a blockage in his bowels.
The 58-year-old, who was known as The Viking during his playing days and is regarded as one of the sport’s most popular characters, is understood to be in a weak and fragile condition.
According to The Sun, Fordham has been told by doctors at King’s College Hospital that he will need surgery if his bowel is blocked again.
