We’ve kind of been friends over the years and I just wanted to write with him. And so I got in a plane and flew over to England.” READ MORE: Darius Rucker Was Told By Some Radio Stations Their ‘Audience Would Never Accept A Black Country Singer’ When He Was Starting Out In Genre Rucker went on, “We spent a day just writing songs.
