His heartbroken family made a statement announcing that the singer, originally from Glasgow, was found dead in his bed at his flat in Minnesota last Thursday.
He first appeared on our screens in show Popstars back in 2001, Darius went on to forge a stellar career over the past two decades.
Sadly, Darius died just eight days before his 42nd birthday but he certainly lived his life to the fullest in the weeks prior to his tragic passing.
