Danny Ramirez Joins Joaquin Phoenix in Todd Haynes' New Detective Movie

Danny Ramirez and Joaquin Phoenix will be starring in a new movie together. The 31-year-old Top Gun: Maverick actor will be starring opposite the 49-year-old Joker actor in the upcoming untitled detective movie from director Todd Haynes, who is best known for directing hit movies including I’m Not There, Carol, and May December. Keep reading to find out more…According to Deadline, the movie is “said to follow two men, one played by Phoenix, who are intense lovers and leave California for Mexico.” Additional casting for the movie is currently underway. Danny will next be appearing in Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World, which hits theaters on February 14, 2025.
