The centre-back was a key member of Graham Potter’s side last season, making 36 Premier League appearances for the club. White, who was part of England’s 26-man Euro 2020 squad, made his debut for the Three Lions on June 2 coming on as a substitute for Jack Grealish in the nation’s 1-0 friendly win over Austria.
The 23-year-old spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Leeds United and featured in all 46 of their Championship games. The Whites won the second-tier title that year under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.
