Danny Dyer smashed his way out of wardrobe after accidentally building himself inside it

Danny Dyer took a trip down memory lane in the latest episode of Sorted With The Dyers. The podcast, which Danny co-hosts with daughter and new mum Dani, was joined by comedian Romesh Ranganathan, who lamented that his DIY skills aren't up to scratch.

Relating to the feeling, Mick Carter actor Danny told: "I once built a wardrobe and I built myself into it. "I had to then smash my way out of the back.

I don't know how I did it. I was very, very young. I built it the wrong way round and then I couldn't get out." Romesh shared that it's "like a dagger to [his] heart" when someone comments on the dining chairs he built. "All those traditionally male jobs, I'm just s**t at," he laughed, "We had dining chairs and they had to be assembled.
