Daniel Craig & Outer Banks' Drew Starkey to Star in 'Queer' Film for Director Luca Guadagnino

Daniel Craig will star alongside Outer Banks actor Drew Starkey in the upcoming movie Queer.

The film will be directed by Luca Guadagnino and the movie is an adaptation of the novel by William S.

Burroughs. Keep reading to find out more… Daniel will play “the renowned counterculture author’s alter ego, an outcast American expat who lives in Mexico,” and Drew will play a “younger man with whom he becomes madly infatuated.” Variety reports that the movie will also star Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, and Henry Zaga.

The Mexico City set will come to life on a sound stage in Rome, Italy and filming begins this month. The casting director for James Bond has opened up about a major requirement for the actor who will replace Daniel in the iconic role.
