Acting as an undercover agent on Her Majesty's Secret Service is a gruelling, physical role, and after finishing Spectre, released in 2015, Craig was adamant he'd turned his back on 007.
He was quoted as saying he'd rather 'slash his wrists' than reprise his part in the Hollywood blockbuster as the man with a licence to kill.
Speaking to GamesRadar, he admitted , “I thought I probably was physically not capable of doing another. “For me, it was very cut and dried that I wasn’t coming back,” he added.
