Dancing On Ice's Joey Essex was left shocked as Phillip Schofield announced a shocking twist for next week's episode. The presenter, 60, made the announcement part-way through Sunday's show as six celebrities took to the ice to battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.

Mollie Gallagher, Joey Essex, Nile Wilson, Carley Stenson, The Vivienne and Siva Kanswaran battled it out on the ice as they tackled this week's Prop theme.

Before announcing what next week's theme would be, Phillip gathered all the celebrities at the side of the ice to deliver some news.

He announced that next week not one, but two celebrities will be going home. The presenter, 60, said: "We've got some big news about the semi-finals because I can reveal that next week there will be a double elimination.
