Dancing On Ice star Alexander Demetriou has confirmed he has quietly split from his wife Carlotta Edwards.  The professional skater has been married to his DOI co-star for four years but announced that they have decided to separate.

It comes just weeks after rumours mounted about his friendship with Dancing On Ice skating partner Maura Higgins, but it was clarified they were just pals.
