ITV have confirmed that Matt Richardson will replace Rufus Hound after he was forced to pull out of Dancing On Ice. The comedian, 41, announced this evening that he had had to withdraw from the ITV skating show via Twitter after testing positive for Covid-19.
Fellow comic Matt has become the second replacement after Olympic gymnast Amy Tinkler stepped in last week as Denise van Outen was forced to pull out.
He will be joined by pro skater Vicky Ogden, with the pair making their debut on Sunday evening. Rufus took to Twitter to confirm the news tonight, writing: "I will no longer be participating in @dancingonice COVID is - as I'm sure we're all well aware - a b*****d and sadly the world isn't short of those."
