Dancing On Ice champion Ryan Thomas in acting comeback after 'all kinds of offers'
ok.co.ukRyan Thomas, the Corrie star who won the most recent series of Dancing On Ice, is thinking about going back to acting after getting lots of job offers.
Ryan appeared on Coronation Street as Jason Grimshaw from 2000-2016 and had a recurring role in Australian soap Neighbours in 2018 as Rafael Humphreys.
But Ryan stopped acting in 2021 to be with his family and work on other projects. Now 39, Ryan has revealed that he wants to go back to being on the big screen again.
He told the Daily Star on Sunday: "Returning to acting is something I have been talking about." He added: "It is my trade after all, so I need to use that to the best of my advantage.There's no definite role and it would all depend on what comes up but we'll see what happens." Ryan isn't sure what role he'll take next, but says he's open to what comes along.
