Dana White claims he is not surprised Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from UFC. The Irishman broke the news on social media on Sunday morning that he has decided to call time on his career.
It is the third time in four years McGregor has retired, only to perform U-turns on the previous two occasions. White discovered the news following the UFC 250 event in Las Vegas, and insists he's not shocked at the fighter's decision given the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “That’s Conor. You know how Conor works. That’s how he does things. “If these guys want to sit out and retire right now or anybody feels uncomfortable in any way, shape or form with what’s going on, you don’t have to fight.
