Deadline confirms the actor is in negotiations with Legendary Pictures to reprise his role alongside recently announced star Kaitlyn Dever in the next theatrical film in the Monsterverse franchise, which will be directed by Grant Sputore from a script by Dave Callaham.
In The New Empire, Trapper Beasley is a veterinarian that works for the scientific organization Monarch, with Stevens’ performance making him a new fan-favorite in the franchise.
The upcoming movie is described as a continuation of the franchise centering Godzilla, Kong and an assortment of other Titans.
