On Friday it was revealed the couple had made an eight hour round trip from their home in Kent to Driffield, Yorkshire, to spend some time with rottweiler Tyson.
After the furore caused by the visit, Dan hit back at his critics in a furious Instagram video. The former Towie star said that he travels around the country as part of his job and as he was such a close distance to the dog breeder currently raising his new pet, decided to call in and assess whether the pup would be alright around his small children.
