Dame Barbara Windsor's widower Scott Mitchell has spoken out on the cruel messages he comes across online.The 58 year old appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday 30 September to talk about running the London Marathon in a bid to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK after his beloved partner died in December 2020.
Speaking to co-hosts Kate Garraway, 54, and Ben Shephard, 46, Scott explained how a woman had stopped in the street to give him a hug before thanking him for how open Barbara was about her struggle with dementia.
He told the pair: "It's very comforting to know and it's really important and that's one of the other things that spurs me on to do this.
