Dalbeattie Rotary Club's Santa's Grotto experience is a must for the kids

Final preparations are being made for Dalbeattie and District Rotary Club’s Santa’s Grotto experience.The event will be held over the weekends of November 30/December 1 and December 7 and 8 at Glaisters Farm, the home of the Scottish Christmas Tree Centre, where Rory Young and his team have constructed a superb Santa’s Grotto in amongst the Christmas trees they have for sale.As well as meeting Santa in his grotto, young people can take part in a range of other activities while they wait their turn to meet the man in the red suit.

Refreshments will also be available from Brigston Catering.Santa’s Grotto is a major community fundraising event for the club and there is a suggested minimum donation of £5 per child which will include a gift from Santa and access to the other activities which are included.All proceeds will go to Dalbeattie Food Bank (now called Community Pantry) for Christmas hampers.
