The 34-year-old actress was all smiles as she hung out with a friend on set of her new movie Materialists on Tuesday afternoon (May 28) in New York City. Earlier in the day, Dakota was seen wearing a black blazer, white blouse, black pin-striped skirt, and black knee-high boots as she arrived on set for the day. Dakota stars alongside Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans in Materialists, which is being directed by Past Lives director Celine Song.
Deadline reports that plot details have been kept secret for now, but they think it follows “a professional matchmaker who gets involved with a wealthy man but still harbors feelings for the broke actor-waiter she left behind.” The site adds they’ve heard “good things about the script.” As of right now, Materialists doesn’t have a release date yet.
