A dad who made thousands of pounds by illegally modifying Amazon firesticks after losing his job in the pandemic has been locked up.
Jonathan Edge complained he had been 'grassed on' when his operation was first rumbled, a court has heard. The 29-year-old modified the devices at his home in Anfield, Liverpool, to enable them to access illegal streams of premium sports, TV shows and movies.

Viewers could then access subscription-based content from Sky and BT Sport, plus around 10,000 films. The finished product offered viewers content worth 'well over £1 million', the Liverpool Echo reports.
