A dad from the North West who was diagnosed with a rare cancer had four inches of his penis 'chopped off' as part of his treatment.
Patrick Howard underwent a procedure to remove his prostate after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Eighteen months later, he noticed itching and redness on his penis.
At first Patrick, 65, was told the issue could be thrush. But a specialist confirmed it was an 'aggressive' form of penile cancer caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) - and said his diagnosis was terminal.
