The unnamed dad, 50, took to Reddit's Am I The A**hole forum to explain that he is a widower and looks after his two teenage children, a 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter.
He pays for both of his children to do extracurricular activities but makes his daughter do housework to earn her the money for hers as he only views hers as "hobbies", while his son does not have to do chores.
