The family of a teenage girl who tragically took her own life are hoping to raise funds for the "places she loved". Heartbroken father Stephen Blackford, 36, was working away at sea in April this year when he received the call with tragic news.
A family member contacted him and told him that his 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea Mooney, did not have much time left, reports Hull Live.
Chelsea had been suffering from an eating disorder for several years and had received treatment from a number of mental health hospitals.
On April 10, while in the care of a secure psychiatric hospital in Sheffield, she committed suicide.Stephen said: "I called the hospital and asked how serious it was and they said I would have to get back urgently.
