Dad's £173,000 dream home turns into a 'living nightmare' after massive flood

A dad is calling for his money back after he had to move his family out of a new home following a major flood. Andrew Banks has seen his sparkling new property on Mulberry Park Estate, Kirkby become a 'living nightmare' at the hands of a succession of technical difficulties in the bathroom and a kitchen flood.

The 46-year-old was then forced to move into a hotel when dust generated by repair work became a potential health hazard, Liverpool Echo reported.

He was particularly concerned for his health having suffered a cardiac arrest several years ago. The factory manager said that he paid around £173,000 earlier this year for the three bedroom house on the new build estate.
