Dad-of-three nearly bleeds to death after freak accident while decorating new home

A dad almost bled to death after suffering horror injuries in a freak accident at his new home. Scott Lee had received the keys to the property the day before and was decorating the space for his wife's birthday.

However, while hanging up a banner, the 30-year-old put his right foot through a pane of glass, slicing his Achilles and severing a main artery that supplies blood to his leg.

Scott's scream of pain was so loud that neighbour's thought someone was being assaulted, according to Wales Online. When the panicked dad-of-three realised he couldn't stop the bleeding, he limped into the street desperately looking for help.

Miraculously, a qualified nurse was driving passed when she spotted him in distress. She quickly pulled over and wrapped one of his wife's dressing gowns tightly around his leg, before relatives rushed him to hospital.
