When dad-of-four David Brownlees began to feel tired, he put it down to working nightshift and thought nothing more of it.In January last year he started having stomach pains, something he put down to “overindulging” at Christmas.But he was left reeling after being told he had kidney cancer, after experiencing none of the symptoms he would have associated with the disease.David, now aged 44, has since had his kidney removed and has undergone gruelling immunotherapy as the cancer had spread to his lung, which has ravaged his body and left him unable to return to work.
