A dad-of-three named his alleged killer with his dying breaths after being stabbed through the heart, a court heard. Jamie Simmons, 29, was knifed after a row over a remark about his girlfriend escalated, jurors were told.
A jury heard that "as he weakened through blood loss and sadly with only about 15 minutes to live", Mr Simmons identified his alleged attacker.
As he lay dying he allegedly said: "Kieron stabbed me. Why would he do that? Why would he do that?" Kieron Nicholson, 29, is on trial accused of murdering Mr Simmons, who turned 29 a week before his death in Maidstone, Kent, in May.
