Interpol guitarist Daniel Kessler has responded to Peter Hook‘s past claim that he applied to become the band’s new bassist following the departure of Carlos Dengler.Dengler departed the NYC indie outfit back in 2010, having been a member since the group’s formation in 1997. Interpol continued as a trio, though their live shows feature additional touring musicians.Shortly after Dengler quit, former New Order bassist Hook told LA Weekly that he’d “applied” to replace the ex-member but claimed he “didn’t get picked”.

"Lord of the Rings" actor Dominic Monaghan dove into details about his past relationship with "Lost" co-star Evangeline Lilly on an episode of Anna Faris' "Unqualified" podcast.  Monaghan played Charlie Pace and Lilly played Kate Austen in the television show "Lost." The co-stars dated from 2004 until 2007.  "I've only really got my heart broken once in my life," Monaghan shared with Faris. Tobias White-Sansom, 35 and from Nottingham, tragically died in Son Llatzer Hospital in Majorca on Sunday (July 31).His death came five days after an incident at Boomerang Nightclub where it is alleged bouncers and police beat and knelt on him for around an hour.
