A dad threatened to kill his ex's new partner after chasing both of them and his own eight-month-old child down the M62 in a 100mph pursuit.

Daniel Jones has been banned from driving following the incident, in which he also bumped into the back of their car. It culminated when the mother of his child and her boyfriend pulled up at a police station and Jones, 25, got out of his car and screamed "I'm going to kill you, let's get this over and done with" as they sat terrified.

The incident came just says after Jones, 25, sent obscene messages to the man, Liverpool Echo reports. Callum Bryce, prosecuting, told Liverpool Magistrates’ Court that Jones and his ex had been in a relationship for five years and had a child together.
