Bolton Crown Court heard Darin Harvey, 25, from Rochdale is believed to have killed his daughter, Felicity May Harvey, who was only 20 days old, at their home in Heywood in January 2021.
It's reported the two-week-old baby was left with "catastrophic" injuries after she was allegedly ''deliberately shaken'' by Mr Harvey, who denies the charge.
Prosecutors claim the man murdered his daughter shortly after his partner and the baby's mother Heather Connolly left their home, leaving her daughter in the trusted company of her father, Manchester Evening News reports.
