A 64-year-old dad, went on a 24-hour rave in Ibiza with nothing but a change of clothes in a Waitrose carrier bag. Challenged by his workmates, Andy Armstrong, embarked on the trip this month and even managed to get himself on the guest list of a Fatboy Slim event.
This is the second time the party-loving pensioner has been able to pull of this feat after he was dared to go on a 24-hour night out in Ibiza with no hotel last year.
Looking to replicate the task, Andy decided to rise to the occasion again this year. Armouring himself with a Waitrose carrier bag - an upgrade from the previous year's Asda one, humorously dubbed a "business class upgrade" by Andy - he jetted from Newcastle for a bargain £62 and hit Ibiza's shores just after 7pm. Now it's set to make £65million' Andy's epic rave began at San Antonio with a pint at Hotel Abrat as the sun dipped below the horizon, prepping him for the 11.30pm Fatboy Slim gig at Pikes.
