DaBaby is bouncing toward his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters expect his latest release, Blame It on Baby, to arrive atop next week’s tally with over 140,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S.
in the week ending April 23. The majority of that sum will be driven by streaming activity for the 13-song album.Blame It on Baby was released via SouthCoast/Interscope Records on April 17.
The album follows the rapper’s previous release, Kirk, which debuted at No. 1 on the Oct. 12, 2019-dated list with 145,000 equivalent album units earned (according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data).The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album.
