Emergency services were called to Chapeltown Road, between Bromley Cross Road and Darwen Road, at around 7.30pm on Wednesday evening (July 22) following reports that a cyclist was unconscious in the road.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) attended the scene, which is near to Bromley Cross train station, and said a man in his 40s was taken to hospital.
