Cyclist dies after horror collision with two cars on major Scots road

A male cyclist has tragically died after a horror crash involving two cars on the A90 in Aberdeenshire. Emergency services were called to the scene near Boddam at around 2.30pm on Wednesday after the alarm was raised.

Paramedics also rushed to help the stricken cyclist but the 52-year-old was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.His next of kin have been informed.It is not known if anyone in the other two vehicles involved were injured.Specialist police accident investigators closed the road for around six hours to allow for a crash probe to take place.Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision and who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
