Curtis Pritchard has revealed he was ‘hurt’ by his split from Maura Higgins and ‘wasn’t ready’ to tell the world about their break-up.

The Greatest Dancer star and Dancing On Ice beauty, 29, ended their seven-month romance in a phone call in March. And Curtis has revealed the pair haven’t spoken since going their separate ways.

The 24-year-old told The Sun: ‘It hurt. I wasn’t ready for everyone to know we had split up — I wanted some time. ‘It was a shock to see that she had announced it on social media hours later.’ The reality star – who came fourth in Love Island with Maura – added that he doesn’t like thinking about romance rumours with the Irish reality star and her dance partner Alex Demetriou.
