Airdrie boss Rhys McCabe insists he won't look too much into their result with Crusaders on Tuesday night after letting a lead slip in 3-2 defeat in Belfast.And he reckons there are positives to take as his side find their feet and try to bed in a host of new signings.Fresh faces Murray Johnson, Dylan MacDonald, Aidan Wilson, Lewis McGrattan, Rhy Armstrong, Terrell Agyemang, Cammy Cooper and Aaron Reid all started in a game where the Diamonds were looking to build on Saturday's comfortable 4-0 win over Monklands rivals Albion Rovers.But they went down to the Northern Irish Premiership side at the Seaview Stadium in front of 72 Diamonds diehards who made the trip across the Irish Sea.Agyemang gave the visitors the lead when worked his way into the box and fired a low strike into the net after 26 minutes.

Mason Hancock twice went close later in the half before McCabe rang the changes at the break.Crusaders levelled in 65 minutes when Kieran Offord turned the ball home and then James Teelan fired the hosts in front nine minutes later.

Lewis McGregor then added to his goal at the weekend when he pulled Airdrie level, hammering home from Adam Frizzell's lay-off with 77 minutes on the clock.

However, Crusaders won it in the 86th minute to claim the bragging rights.McCabe, though, was particularly pleased with the Diamonds' first-half performance as they build towards competitive action.He said: "We have managed to come through unscathed.
