Crowds are gathering at a mural that has appeared overnight on a wall Bristol with many believing legendary graffiti artist Banksy is behind it.

The painting shows an old woman sneezing with her false teeth flying out and appears to be in a Banksy style. Residents in the Totterdown area of the city have been seen taking photos of themselves being blown back by the woman's sneeze.

Residents said they were looking forward to noon when the sun would shine on the wall. Banksy murals tend to poke fun at current affairs, so suggestions were made that the sneeze referred to Covid-19, Bristol Live reports.

One woman added that it could be a nod towards the strong wind on Vale Street, where the mural has been painted, reports the Bristol Post.
