Critics Choice Awards Postponed Due To L.A. Wildfires; New Date To Be Announced

EXCLUSIVE: The Critics Choice Awards has been postponed, we’ve learned on good authority. A new date will be announced imminently.

The ceremony was to take place Sunday at the Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hanger. We’ll update with an official statement as soon as that comes through.

The 30th annual ceremony was set to be broadcasted on its new partner E! and Peacock for a 7PM ET/PT broadcast. Chelsea Handler was set to return as host for her third consecutive year.

Conclave and Wicked lead this year’s Critics Choice noms with 11 apiece. Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pérez follow closely behind with 10 nominations each, including Best Picture nominations for both films.
