The future of Cristiano Ronaldo's international career remains uncertain after Portugal's exit from Euro 2024. Ronaldo and Co were eliminated on Friday night by France, who were 5-3 victors in their quarter-final penalty shootout after a goalless 120 minutes at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner made it clear earlier in the tournament that this would be his final Euros at the age of 39.
But that of course doesn't rule out his participation at the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada in two years' time.
He's previously hinted that he intends on being on the plane to North America, regardless of his age.
