A young woman who was hit by a car had her handbag stolen while she lay on the ground with "serious injuries". The theft happened on Saturday, March 1, following a crash on Trinity Way, Salford , at the traffic lights next to the New Bailey car park.
The bag contained vital items, including a phone containing phone numbers for emergency contacts that the authorities needed to get in touch with.
Police have since appealed for anyone who might have information on the incident to come forward.
