Original Big Brother champ Craig Phillips can’t wait for the best bits of his groundbreaking reality TV show victory to be screened tonight.

That’s because in the 20 years since his win, he reckons he’s never had the time to watch replays of his stint as one of the first contestants in the Channel 4 house.

Part of the reason is that Scouser Craig was far too busy building a house of his own. Now expecting his second child with wife Laura, he said: “The time has flown by. “I got given a box of VHS tapes but I was on the road for 97 days afterwards and never got round to watching them.

Still, 20 years on, I don’t have the time to watch hundreds of hours of footage. “I’ve never seen a single episode of my own time in the house.” But tonight
