Craig David reveals intimate bedroom detail in hope to 'heal' his relationship issues

Singer Craig David has revealed that he has been celibate for two years, after pulling back from intimacy in a bid to heal his 'personal issues'.The musician first mentioned refraining from sex while appearing on The Louis Theroux Podcast in 2023, before sharing this week that he has hit the two-year milestone. "I realised that me not having healed my own issues meant I was never in a position to be open to someone else.

So I realised I had to pull back from all of this and this has been the past couple of years really," he said last year. Adding: “Which does mean not outwardly going on dates, the sexual interactions are going to have to stop now, just cut that off.” And now, Craig has given an update and revealed that his creativity in other areas of his life are at an all-time high.

The 7 Days hitmaker told TMZ: “It has been really good for me because man, the studio music, the creativity, it’s like, no drama just vibes! “I know to the date,” he jested. “It’s been two years now for me [without sex].

But in a funny way, much as I was like ‘Wow!’ to myself for the moment, [my] creativity has been on a 100, on a max, for those two years.” Craig enjoyed a number of short-term relationship in his 20's and 30's but never found anything serious, after being left afraid of getting hurt after suffering heartbreak at 16-years-old.
