Covid-stricken Phillip Schofield reveals exciting update from isolation as This Morning sends him a meal by taxi

Phillip Schofield received a welcome boost from his This Morning colleagues as he remained in isolatation at home with Covid-19.

The TV presenter, 59, revealed last week that he had tested positive for the virus and was unable to return to his presenting duties with his co-host Holly Willoughby.

Holly, 40, fronted the latest episode of the daytime chat show with Alison Hammond, 47, instead. Sharing a photo of his meal in day seven of isolation a delighted Phil wrote: "Oh how I love the team @thismorning. "Cooked on the show @clodagh_mckenna's Thai green curry just arrived at my door in a taxi." Phillip also revealed that he had been sent a "bag of shizzle" by the team including sweets and a jigsaw of colleagues Alison and fellow Friday morning presenter Dermot O'Leary, 48.
