Covid cases in Scotland jump by almost a third in one week

New figures show that Covid-19 cases in Scotland have risen by almost a third in a single week. According to Public Health Scotland (PHS), 15,541 cases were reported in the week to June 19.This figure is up 30.5% from the previous week when cases were at 11,909.

PHS said it "continues to monitor Covid-19 variants of concern, in collaboration with other public health agencies in the UK".
