When one couple was quoted more than £1,000 by IKEA to convert a spare bedroom into a walk-in wardrobe, they decided to do it themselves.

And, with some help from B&Q kits, Hari Harris and his partner Jamie managed to pull off the transformation for hundreds and hundreds less than the figure quoted. "We had recently renovated our home and after the main jobs were done, we moved onto the bedroom," Hari, 25, told money-saving community  LatestDeals.co.uk. “After discussing ideas, we decided to remove the wardrobe in the bedroom and use the unused guest bedroom as a wardrobe." But when Dad-of-one Hari, from Shropshire, saw how much it would cost to be fitted for them, he decided to take matters into his own hands. "We looked at many ideas
