A former Coronation Street actress - who played part of the soap's first ever lesbian couple - has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
32-year-old Sacha Parkinson, who starred on the soap from 2009 to 2011, made the announcement in an Instagram post on Christmas Eve, the Mirror reported.
The reel showed photos of the actress clad in red silk pyjamas, which revealed her growing baby bump. "Merry Xmas Eve huns - I have a feeling next year is going to be a wild one," she wrote in the caption.
