Victoria Ekanoye, famed for playing Angie Appleton on Coronation Street, is soon to welcome her first child. The actress, 38, took to Instagram this week to share that she is soon to give birth to her little boy after enduring a challenging time as the tot has been in breech position.
A breech baby when the baby is lying bottom first or feet first in the uterus instead of in the usual head-down position Victoria - who suffers from sickle cell disease - explained that as a result of her baby being feet first, she had to undergo a external cephalic version (ECV) - where a medical professional turned the baby into a head-down position by applying pressure to her abdomen.
