Nathan had been serving time in prison after being locked up for grooming Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) back in 2017. Nathan is now a prime suspect in Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) mysterious disappearance, after Bethany and her mum Sarah (Tina O'Brian) grew suspicious of him upon his returning.
With the character having been arrested in Monday's (27 May) episode, it looks like Nathan's time on the cobbles could be soon set to end.
Actor Christopher, 46, was understandably thrilled to be asked to return to Coronation Street, and previously said he was "emotional" when informed about Nathan's return. “I was emotional when I was told about Nathan's potential return.
