Coronation Street actor Sam Aston has admitted he is often left “feeling like a spare part” with his newborn daughter as his wife Briony is cluster feeding.
The couple, who are also parents to son Sonny, 22 months, welcomed baby Daisy into the world last month. And speaking exclusively to OK!, Sam, who has played Chesney Brown on the cobbles since 2003, says that most of the time his daughter just wants her mum because she can settle her with feeding.

share first picture “A lot of the time when I’m holding her she just wants Briony and she can settle her straight away. “She’s definitely a mummy’s girl and sometimes I’m a bit like, ‘Oh!’ But when I do get 10 minutes to cuddle her I really cherish it.” Sam continues that he’s looking forward to when his daughter is a bit older and they can interact more.
